Recently also a news agency PTI reported that the filmmakers have pursued permission from the Lok Sabha Secretariate for the shooting of her upcoming movie “Emergency” inside the Parliament premises. They also stated that her request letter is currently under consideration and is likely to be rejected by the Lok Sabha secretariat.

Kangana Ranaut evacuated all the rumors regarding this by resharing the post on her Instagram Story which mentioned that “First time ever a movie is allowed to shoot in parliament, a small segment of the Emergency movie will shoot soon in parliament” on which Kangana said that “That’s not true it’s fake news!!!”.
Kangana Ranaut has dismissed all the rumors in this story.

Before Kangana’s reply, the PTI ( Press Trust of India ) had made some claims that “Kangana Ranaut has drafted a letter to the Lok Sabha secretariat seeking permission for the shoot of her upcoming film “Emergency” in the Parliament premises. PTI also mentioned that her letter is under consideration but will be probably disallowed because private bodies are not given permission to shoot or film any type of video on the premises of Parliament.

“Emergency” is the upcoming Political drama film of Kangana Ranaut, directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut herself in which she is going to play the role of the Late Prime Minister of India “Indira Gandhi” also the Veteran actor Anupam Kher is going to characterize the role of JP Narayan ( Jai Prakash Narayan ) & Milind Soman would be seen playing the role of war hero Sam Manekshaw. Apart from these Mahima Chaudhari will be seen portraying the role of Pupul Jayakar. Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Vishak Naik as Sanjay Gandhi & Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram.
The period drama film “Emergency” is currently under production. Shooting for the movie started in June month this year, and is all set to release in the year 2023 under the film production house Manikarnika Films.
Kangana Ranaut announced the movie “Emergency” in the year 2021, the film is penned by Ritesh Shah & Jaiyanth Vasanth Sinha who also wrote the last movie of Kangana named “Dhaakad” which drastically failed at the Box office.
Kangana shared an update related to her upcoming film on Koo app and said “pleased to wear director’s hat again, after working on Emergency for more than a year I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high.
