In Ponniyin Selvan 2, Madhurantaka Chola (Rahman) plans to take over the Chola dynasty against his parents’ wishes, and Pedda Paluvettaraiya conspires with Samanta kings to dethrone Aditya Karikala (Vikram) and take control.
