Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Pathaan’s Makers Asked to Implement Changes in Movie By CBFC

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his comeback in movies after four years through his film Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen collaborating with Deepika Padukone in the title roles for their forthcoming film Pathaan.

DDLJ actor’s movie Pathaan has become the topic of discussion and controversies since the release of the song “Besharam Rang”. The trailer and movie posters of the film created very much hype among the people. But it also became the topic of controversy.

What Did Prasoon Joshi Say?

The Shah Rukh Khan starring movie Pathaan made its way to controversy due to the song “Besharam Rang”. Many people appreciated the song but on the other side, many people took offense. Due to the Orange colored Bikini has been worn by the Ram-Leela Actress, Deepika Padukone. Even in Indore, Madhya Pradesh sculptures of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were set on fire.

Also, The Incumbent Minister of Madhya Pradesh Narottam Mishra objected to the use of the saffron-colored outfit. He said that the song was containing objectional scenes and he also threatened to ban the film in the Madhya Pradesh State.

Afterward, The Chairperson of the Censor Board of Film Certification ( CBFC ) Prasoon Joshi, went through the examination process of the Pathaan movie and after the decision of the committee, he asked the makers of the movie to make suggested changes and re-submit the movie for review.

He also articulated that “The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India is dedicated to maintaining a balance between artistic freedom and the expectations of the audience. The organization believes that through constructive communication with all involved parties, solutions can be reached that respect both the creative vision of filmmakers and the sensibilities of the audience. The CBFC’s main objective is to certify films for public exhibition while also adhering to certain standards and avoiding offense to public sensibilities.”

Further, he said that “As the necessary processes are being properly carried out, it is important to stress that our culture and faith are full of depth and richness. They are worthy of admiration and should not be oversimplified or reduced to superficialities that detract from their true essence. It is also essential to foster trust and understanding between creators and the audience, and for creators to work towards maintaining this trust.”

Joshi proclaimed that the committee responsible for determining the colors of the costumes for the film “Pathaan” was impartial and fair in their decision-making process. According to Joshi, the reflection of this balanced approach will be evident when the film is released.

Minister Narottam Mishra’s Reaction to CBCF’s Decision

Narottam Mishra who was against the song “Besharamm Rang” has now reacted to the decision made by the CBCF and has admired the decision to make changes in the “Pathaan” movie before it is released in threats.

When this matter came to me, I said that this is an attempt to hurt the sentiments through a polluted mindset, this affects the Reel life, as well as the Real life, and the actors, directors, producers, and everyone else, should be always careful about this, Mishra said in a video posted on Twitter.
