We all know that after the boycott trend no movies from Bollywood have performed much well & it’s a fact now that South Pan India Movies are performing very well at the Box Office and even scattering many records. South Pan Indian Movies like Pushpa, RRR, and KGF 1, and 2 have broken several movie records recently in India.
In a recent conversation with FirstPost, Saif Ali Khan was asked about Vikram Vedha’s release and how it was released even when Bollywood is going through its lowest phase. Answering the question, the actor said, “It’s very concerning and worrying that Bollywood films are not doing well.
Film making is a business and it gets affected. Terms start to get dictated by different platforms. Bollywood films need to be successful at the box office for the film industry to run in a healthy creative way. Obviously, for that, we need to make movies that the audience love. Sometimes it is disheartening to read reviews that say we’ve forgotten to make films. We now have outsiders coming to Bollywood to show us how to make good films.”
He said that it is very disheartening for him to hear that outsiders are coming to Bollywood and making better movies than them. He also said that Bollywood should focus on making movies that the audience wants and loves to watch.
